This site is dedicated to the following Hams that have made trips to Mt. Nebo: David WB4OVT, George WB4CHZ, Jim WA4NOD and Tom WD4KWD. The tradition will continue next year year 2006 as a tribute to the hams mentioned above.

Hours before the contest begins the loading of equipment takes place at N4GMT's QTH for the 4 hour drive to Mt.Nebo in North Central AR. The traveling caravan left at 1:00 p.m. and included Tom KA4P David KD4NOQ Team 1, Russ WD4JHD Joe WD4GXI Team 2, Lance N4GMT Randy WB4LHD Team 3. Wendy's was the first stop at Forest City,Ar. After several "Ham Tales" the group depearted the Burger Doddle at approximetely at 2:45 p.m. Setting the cruise at 70 mph we had Nebo in sight at 5:30.
